Technical Rear suspension noise, Grande Punto 2009

I've just bought a 2009 Grande Punto, and there is a noise coming from the back of the car when i am going over bumps and speed bumps, its most noticeable when Im going about 20mph. sounds like it is the suspension, its sort of a popping noise.
Does any one have any ideas what it is and how to fix?

this a popping squeak type noise?

take a hose pipe and blast the rubbers above and below the springs with plenty of water and go for a quick spin any better?

a little better i think, but the noise is still noticeable...
