Technical Radio Arial Adapter

Hello,
I bought a new cd player for my Fiat punto 2004 and the black cable (from the aerial, photo 1) for the radio does not fit into the back of the stereo. It looks like a female type adaptor.

The old radio had a male adaptor, but the new one is female (photo 2).

Can anybody suggest what to do, is there an adaptor available. I looked at the threads here but could not find the exact same issue. I also looked on the internet, but cannot find what exactly I need to plug the radio aerial to my new stereo.

Can anybody help please?

Thank you for your rapid reply and I checked the link.
Looking at the photo, I have a quick question. If I connect it to either end (the stereo or the aerial) does it not mean that they are still female to female?
Do I not need to make one of them male or am i being thick...

The car aerial will slot inside the adapter which will then fit into the radio. Halfords do them if you have a local one and can't wait but ebay will be cheaper.
