help needed. i need a radiator for my b, sadly i carnt afford a new on been quoted around 300 pounds?

also just had it up on a ramp and noticed a rusty patch under the driver seat. no rust anywhere else bodywork is mint. is this normal and what has caused it.

rust patch inside the car or outside?

rust patch was under the car.
about 1"x 2" its not a big hole and easy to patch but i dont really uderstand why its there, on further inspection the floor mats feel damp?

does anyone have any pics on where they have found any rust in the past. i would like to get it back to mint condition while i can.

You might also consider having your existing radiator recored. It will be as good as new and a lot less money. As for the rusting floor, I'm scared to look at mine. Steve

Shouldnt be a problem to find somewhere mate. It's a fairly straight forward job and can even be done while you wait depending on the size of the new core required (whether its standard). Good luck...

as for the rust. its a bit of a sickening feeling, but hay ho! at least winter isnt coming.!!

as for the floor check out the guide to remove floor, tis best to get it sorted while its small.
