General Punto MK2 Abarth bodywork advice needed after crash..

Some utter cretin has driven into my girlfriends newly acquired mint low mileage Punto HGT Abarth the other day when it was parked up and driven off. Needless to say she is absolutely gutted.

I have attached a photo to show the damage.

I would be most grateful if someone could reassure me that this damage is repairable, and how much I am looking at for repair? I have taken a look and it seems to be a double skinned area so its not a simple matter of popping the dent out again...

Finally any recommendations for a good body shop in Essex or even the South East would be appreciated!

I'm afraid that will require cutting and welding to fix properly. (Asopposed to filling.)

It's definitely repairable, but it won't be cheap to do it properly.
