Technical Punto MK2 2002 1.2 8v - Timing Belt Question

I've got a punto mk2 2002 8v, it's approx 5 years and 6 months old and the car has just done 50k miles. Just wanted to know when was the best time to change the timing belt, some people say 60k miles but not sure, want to be safe than sorry... And whats the average cost if any one knows to change the belt so I dont get ripped off....

Also does any one know if the Punto MK2 2002 1.2 8v has an inference or non inference engine, cheers in advace!

be no damage to engine, but they alway break when you are out late at night in the rain and on a motor way
