Punto (Mk2/2b) punto 2001 fuel starvation or not

hy im wondering if u think this could be fuel starvation or not?

hy i have a fiat punto 2001 standard
and when i go around corners my fuel orange light comes on,even though tank isnt empty,and it starts to judder ,then when it is back on the straight road its fine again
im thinking is this fuel starvation too .could anyone help me ,im new to this forum and dont know where to post sorry guys if ive posted in wrong place i can always delete the post ,
any help would be appreciated

Hello

Welcome to the Fiat Forum

First thing you could check is that the fuel pump isnt floating around your tank.
This is located under your back seats, i think there is 3 screws holding down a black cover.

Somebody esle had this the other day and it turned out to be electrical HT leads were loose if irc

HY Guys took the car to garage fella said he would look at it for me and test drive it to see what was wrong.
left car with him come back he said it was spark plugs that needed replacing
so got them done at the garage all in all cost me £25
and problem as indeed now gone away.So spark plugs replacing is whats needed..
just thought i would let anyone know incase they have the same problem

after this problem ,i then had another problem, car started to be same on the straight slight juddering when changing gear on a straight like it was losing power
and the car was using more fuel .
turned out after replacing HT leads and new coil packs its now fine
and a lot better on fuel ,hope this helps anyone else with similar problems !
