Hy
I am a owner of a Fiat Bravo 1.9 TD 75Ps from 1997 a few days ago I lost my only key from the car and now I am looking for solutions to fix this problem. I understand that if I replace the Ecu, key barrel +the key's(also the red key?) and imobilizer taken from another car it would be ok(should i need the chip from diesel pump also ?). The problem is that I can't find my ECU. In my technical book it says that the location of ECU is on the right side under the glove box but there i can find only the EGR control unit. So can anyone could tell my where I can find it?
I've attached the image from the book

Vol3, so I am guessing you are looking at JTD which has electronic control for injection. Vol1 should have the TD75 engine, wiring diagrams in Vol2.

On TD it is just the injectorpump (plus three wires for the fuel cutoff solenoid, not sure if fuelpump relay in controlled by the immobilizer).

Unplug the plug going to the pump for the immobiliser

Using a test lamp find which wire is the live ignition feed

Remove the armour to gain access to the stop solenoid

Connect the aforementioned wire to the stop solenoid. Problem solved!

Example (Disclaimer: not a Fiat in the pic below but same principle)

No need to change ECU, and IMO. You just find a "remap expert guy" or a locksmith guy. IMO can be disabled by software.
