Little update, after some research, I'm going to apply to the Specials, phoning up for the application form tomorrow.

Good luck, it's a foot in the door and will undoubtedly give you the experience needed should the time come when you and if you apply to become a full time officer.

Its any public servant which are applicable to that discount. Armed forces and Civil Service get the discount too. Subscribe to the CSMA magazine once your hired for more details. Even though Im not in the civil service anymore Im still a member and still elligable to the discounts
