General phone breaks up

Hi, I have an iphone and no problems with the pairing etc. Since i got the car two weeks ago Ive not managed to have one phone call where the caller has not commented on how bad the line is. Sometimes the caller is also broken up to me but not always. Does anyone have idea if its just my set or a generic problem with blue & me or speakers/mic ? thanks

That sounds like a problem with your car - the sound should be ok.

How old is the car and where did you buy it from?

its a 2010, from a small dealer in Ashstead...about 50 miles away from home

Did you get any warranty? They may quibble it but you could try calling them from the car!

A good dealer would fix that for you for free as it probably just needs a new microphone.

Is it perhaps the call volume setting? Too high can cause distortion and feedback for the person on the other end. Too low, hard to hear obviously.
My previous car, a Grande Punto, was very particular about call volume settings.
