Technical Palio wont rev

Hi guys

Im new to the forum maybe I can find some light here

I drive a 2003 fiat palio 1.6 and it wont rev say maybe past 3k rpm then it limits or something, its also heavy on fuel.

I cleaned the map sensor, throttle body and replaced the coil pack with plugs and wires but still. What else could it be?

It has about 123k km's on the clock and blown the head gasket in 2010 after overheating but was fixed. The problem I have only started last year

What do you guys think?

not sure, will ask sum1 to check for me. Probably need special tools to set the timing if its off?

So the timing was off about two teeth, We then set the timing according to the marks but still the same problem. If someone can please advise...
What parts should I usually check between 100k to 120k km on the clock

Howcome the timing was of in the first place?

Clean the throttlebody with carburetor cleaner, carbon and dirt build up will cause problems.
Sometimes the O2 or Lambda sensor is bad at that milage as well.

Really dont know why the timing was off, cleaned the TB already, the crank sensor is kinda dirty and covered in sticky green stuff. Will check and try to clean the lambda sensor today. Fiat's asking R2.5k for the lambda sensor
