I wanted to paint my calipers.

Would this count as a modification in insurance terms?

Any help would be appeciated!!

But reading on some other forums, it says that in some cases insurers have declined to pay out because of the painted calipers?

ya but you gotta inform them if you change the colour of the car.. so what about changing colour of the calipers?

Just ring them, chances are it wont cost you anything. When I was looking at lowering it would have been like another £20 a year

Okay.... rang them, They say that it doesnt cost a thing :slayer:

but it doesnt even need to be on file!!

So only performance mods need to be declared
