just wondered if any owners or people who have driven a 150 stilo sporting jtd could give me any idea of how good a car they are...handling...gadgets, reliability, pulling/power etc. ??
Hey, I just got mine on saturday! power is excellent. but coming from an MG ZS, the handling isnt brilliant. It rolls quite abit. Hopefully I'll get used to it, otherwise I'll be looking into getting some performance springs.
Any you recommend? I keep hearing eibach, but i cant seem to find anywhere to buy them! do they not have an english website? and i assume i'd need shocks as well as just the springs?

Commenting on the engine.... it's not as refined as the 5 cylinder JTD due to the sheer amount of power it's putting out per litre, can sound a bit um... harsh when you really throttle it, but then you're doing 90 something and you remember to ease off.
Dual carriageway and motorways are effortless, cruise along at whatever speed you settle on and if you need to overtake or go up big hills just push the 'noise' pedal and you're there. No need to go anywhere near the gearbox. Motorway speeds are almost silent from the engine, makes long distances very comfortable.
With 6 speeds the B roads are pretty easy, 4th and 5th will do for all but the tightest corner.
Accelerating hard in say 2nd/3rd gives off a certain noise in the Bravo. Sounds the same on the Croma 150 multijet. The 5 cylinder version is a much smoother noise. Maybe that's why I notice it coming from a marea 5 cylinder.
I am sure someone will correct me if Im wrong but it is the Stilo the opinion is wanted about.
