Technical Oops

Ok, me again........

Whilst repairing my door locks I inadverantly placed a craft knife on the top of my dashboard ( I used it to cut the trim from inside the door), I forgot about it and moved the car and it fell into the windscreen clearing vent never to be seen again (It was a bit of a comedy moment i guess...if you like the chuckle brothers ).

Is it likely to cause any damage?, should I be looking to remove it? or might it fall out elsewhere?

I put in those vents wunderbaum trees (New car scent)

but I can replace them
