Technical oil in water

hi` i have a 1.9d scudo van.i have oil in water but no overheating problem and no loss of water,i have full power, just oil in water. its not the choclate colour either just clean oil, can any one give me a clue please its on a t reg and well looked after.

Possibly unrelated but On a Nissan Almera years ago I had the same problem, turned out there was a fractured membrane between the oil and water in the oil cooler. Blowed if I know where this would be on a Scudo-if in fact it even has one?

Hi it is worth looking at the oil cooler it is on the oil filter but had it on mine and it was the headgasket? the oil did not mix with the water? in the end had more oil than water in the cooling system same with me no loss of power but had a lumpy tickover

hi,
is there "mayo" in the oil filler cap ?,

is the oil on the dipstick a milky colour, or separated , clear oil on bottom of stick - water on upper part??,

how many miles / age of engine??,

used oil in header tank but oil is ok on dipstick
