Well its MOT time for our 1995 2dr Punto 55s. We thought it had 2 months left, but it didn't - 5 days. I looked underneath and it seems really solid except for the NS rear floor pan area, which is rotten. Are there panels for this?
Local mechanic says he can repair it, and providing it doesn't cost too much or fail on any other major issues tomorrow, we will probably get it done.
Everyone says scrap it, and when are you getting her a new car, but I see it as a challenge - how long can a punto mk1 keep going? Its done the wife 11 years so far. It runs great and is cheap as chips on fuel.
If she refuses to have it repaired, is anyone interested in the car? Or is it destined for FIAT heaven?
Cheers,
Ben
