Haha don't silly, I'm quite enjoying reading tbh
Let the hijack commence Nem66 sorry I didn't message back was doing something to the gp
Right let's go that fine bud, I did wash mine the other day but that was time wasted with the smog everywhere. Need to do my vinyl again when I have time, it's not taken well. Plus there is a bit a yellow showing, I'm just nervous taking the grill off a lot
Nothing to be worried about dude there made to be strong and durable i need to redo my grills at some point the idea of plastidipping it was silly with all the air going through starting to peel
One clip has already broken off :/ just have to wait for my vinyl to get here and for next weekend when I have my car and time off. Looking forward to Wednesday get my backbox on. Woo
you gonna venture into scunny afterwards dude? Should have my leathers in by then
Welcome to the forum mate I too have a 1.4 8v keep it simple I think they already look quite sporty I fancy some abarth alloys but just going to save. I haven't done much on mine to be honest. Looking forward to seeing more
I'm pretty sure this was my car Did you buy it in Penkridge?
Looking forward to seeing what you do to it!
I think so yeah! Is that up in Staffordshire? It was in a ford dealership?
Got a bit of a problem so hoping someone can help me..
I was changing the bulb behind the heating dials, managed to do it all fine but I can't get the aerial cable back into the back of the CD player.. I heard something drop behind the back where the cd would fit (my heart sank) but I'm hoping it has nothing to do with that.
I'm just real confused cos it feels like the aerial doesn't fit into the slot :s
Any help would be appreciated right now
Yeah Hodsons
Ah the aerial cable was a pain for me too, it fell apart when putting in an aftermarket stereo so had to re-solder one on, which meant when I put the original back in when i sold my car i had to buy an adapter for the aerial to fit (why they can't be universal i don't know) so i'm guessing it was the adapter that has fell off if it's not plugging in?
Aaahh right I see.. You're right maybe that's what fell then I was hoping it was something minor, tbh I went a 12 month without the radio in my last car cos I had an aftermarket CD player with no adapter so it's not a massive problem really, just a little irritating thing -_-
Thanks for that
think it was only a couple of quid for the adapter so easy to replace unless you start getting an annoying rattle from the bit that's fell out
