Introduction
Here is my recently brought Fiat Tipo with a 2.0 16v turbo engine.
the mk1 and mk2 tipo 2.0 have different inlet manifolds as i found this out when i dropped my mk2 engine into my mk1Nice car, was watching on ebay as interesting car.
Its not an integrale engine, its a Fiat Coupe engine as integrale has different intake manifold and only EVO2's have coil packs which are sited at cam end, Fiat Coupe has them on inlet manifold and you can see the coil leads going up that way through hole you get in spark plug cover on Fiat's.
Not many but some subtle difference's between them which save money. integrale engine as said has different inlet manifold plus I think bigger throttle body, very expensive sodium filled valves, and on EVO's teflon (may be some other slippery coating that I can't remember name of) coated pistons. Plus Fiat Coupes run small T25 turbo's as do EVO2's though on EVO's 2 with T3 flange all other integrale run bigger T3's.
All in nice car, love it
very nice:yum: wouldn't mind seeing how they have done it, do you know if its the delta turbo they have put on?
Yey my old car :slayer: Im glad to see its still driving around and not in a ditch somewhere
see you at combe also, would like to have a good look
