Had a little sort out today and stumbled across a load of old photos of some of my past cars. I have filtered them out and thought I would post up 3 of my more favourite Fiats and Lancia's I have owned in the past.
First off was my Fiat 131 2.0 litre twin cam Supermirafiori. What a car. Looking at it today it looks proper boxy and when I owned it I got the **** took out of me for owning a Lada look-a-like! How little do others know. This beauty was fast, handled very well and I had loads of fun in it. I stupdly swapped it for a nearly new Yamaha DT125LC motor bike!
Next up was my first Lancia Delta. This one was a 1600 GT carb version. It was a great car and I went literally everywhere in this. Life did not start well as on the way home from buying it the cars valve stem seals blew (or I thrashed it so hard I broke it!) and I had to replace them as it burnt oil like no ones business. Unfortunatly the best picture I have shows a major dent in the rear door. A knob head drove into the side of me and drove off without stopping. Oh well I got his plate, reported him and he got banned for it! Serves him right. I never got it repaired as I kept the money because I wanted to upgrade... A fantastic car overall.
Lastly I upgraded from the GT to a Lancia Delta HF Turbo i.e. When I went to look at this car I knew it had gearbox trouble. It was driveable but it had to be repaired ASAP. I had the gearbox rebuilt immediatly. This car was very fast but unfortunately it was the most fragile car I have ever own. The list of things that went wrong with it were amazing. In the end I fell out of love with it and got rid. The Delta was a great car but this one was clearly a lemon. Still I have fond memories of it. :slayer:
