Hi People
Gonna be installing a universal r/c central locking kit to my Mk1 55s in the next couple of days. I need to give it a 12v power supply and someone mentioned about tapping in to the power supply to the radio or hazard lights as they have a constant power supply. Was looking at the fuses for these and the hazard lights are protected by a 10A fuse and similar for the radio. The c/l kit requires a 25A fuse so surely if it can use anything upto 25A, it would keep blowing the fuses for the radio or hazard lights?
The other method i can use is direct to the battery, however im a little uncertain as to how i would be able to get the wire through to the inside of the car? Can anyone shed a little light on this? I would prefer to connect in the fuse box, but am willing to be persuaded Can anyone help me identify a 12v power supply wire that i can tap into in the fusebox for the c/l kit? I have scotch locks
Thanks in advance guys
