Technical MJTD Stilo Service Interval

Hi,

My Stilo is a 2006 later model with the 120bhp 1.9 MJTD engine.

My book mentions the service interval is 12k, but range the garage and its actually 18k intervals.

Can anyone confirm the newer diesel engine has the longer intervals, before I leave it for a few extra thousand miles.

Current 1.9 MJet service intervals are 18,000 miles or annually whichever comes first. Cant go too wrong with that but I plan to bring my service intervals in a touch to 15,000 or 10 months due to my re-map. Only risk with early servicing is cost during ownership but there is a bigger risk in leaving it too long obviously.

Bravo multijet 18,000 mile service intervals - with DPF that extends until the oil has been degraded by DPF regeneration.

Don't think any of the Stilo's had DPF though so the 2nd part probably doesn't apply.
