Hi, my 1.4 8v smokes quite a lot when you rev it after idling for a minute or 2. A mechanic I know told me the smoke was from a bad fuel/air ratio rather than oil which i had suspected. Anyway, I removed the MAP sensor today and it was dripping with fresh oil. I'm assuming this is not normal?
Can anyone think why this is happening?
PS the car uses quite a lot of oil, but it always has done. The car runs just as smoothly as ever and the fuel economy is the best it has ever been.
