Technical Manual to electric windows mk1 punto 60s

Has anyone ever changed the manual windows to electric on the Punto 60s? Is it difficult to do?

I guess you would need to get the dash wiring loom (By the way, where is this?) and the motors and the door cards but is that it?

Any help and advice would be apprecated!

Is it worth it? I have just changed cars from a manual winder to electric, and it just pees me off that I need the ignition on to move the windows. The winder was much easier to find than a button on the dash too.

Yeah, especially for the passenger side as everybody winds it down, gets out the car and halfway home i either have to stop or dangerously lean over. And theyre cool. I would get door cards so the switch would be next to me anyway

I spotted your other thread, it is much more worth it if you are swapping the entire interior. Your best bet is probably to take the interior and the entire door off a Sporting. That way, you will have all the bits you need rather than finding out later that something is forgotten.
