Technical Location of Crankshaft sensor on Punto HGT??

Hey guys i own a Y-reg Punto HGT and my engine light is ON and engine wont start, there is fuel getting to the inlet manifold and no spark, the engine does turn over though..... im thinking that maybe the crankshaft sensor is gone?? anyone got a diagram or could explain where the crank sensor is located exactly???

Hi mate, and WELCOME TO THE FORUM :wave:

The RPM/Crank sensor is located just above the sump on the front of the engine just behind the exhaust manifold. Its held in with a single torx bolt.

Is the CODE light going out on the dashboard?
