Technical Keyless entry suddenly doesn't work anymore

I have recently started having problems with the remote control of my 2018 500x. I have already replaced the battery, but it often does not connect and I cannot open the door. Then I try for minutes pressing the open and close buttons and finally, after a lot of trying, it works.
If I want to start the car, I have to press the start button with the remote control. If I have driven it for a while and I get out and then back in, it often works again in one go.

Does anyone have an idea what it could be or what I can do about it?

I’ve had this issue a couple of times and generally it’s the batteries which need replacing make sure they are good quality ones as cheap batteries don’t seem to work well and they can need changing regularly.
Only once did the car need a software update and this resolved the issue.

Canadian owners have reported similar.. (maybe its the COLD weather limiting power from batteries)

Reportedly a water ingress problem

Warning light : service keyless entry | FIAT 500X

I have a 2016 fiat 500x . The warning light : service keyless entry system has activated. Does anyone have experience with this warning? What service is required? What is the problem or fix? Any input would be appreciated.
