Just picked up this little beauty! I really am shocked by just how good it is!

Has exceeded my expectations on so many levels (bearing in mind I have driven new mini cooper s, lotus elise, lotus elan).

Brilliant little car.

Welcome. Wonderful cars, though the ride not suited to everyone


Always the same advice:


1. Put petrol in


2. Drive it, preferably on smooth bends


3. Avoid potholes and speedbumps

4. It's no use mouthing to passers by that the huge turning circle is cos of the 6 speed gearbox and not your ability. They don't care - they just see a person in a small car that can't do a 3-point turn. You'll live though.

Yep, exactly what AB100 said!
I might make some flyers to hand to people explaining that it's the car and not me being a terrible driver!

1. Put decent tyres on it.
2. Check the damping. Koni SRT.T shocks are recommended.
3. Cambelt?
4. Enjoy!

Decent tyres are a must and as others have said the turning circle is laughable... other than that just get out there and enjoy it.

Thanks for all the replies...That turning circle is going to take some getting used to. Cambelt is due for replacement, so I will do that and the water pump while I am in there..

Any recommendations for service manuals? Haynes? Or is there a download, or digital one that can be purchased?

There is no 100hp specific manual i'm afraid which is probably why we are always asking each other questions on here...
