Technical Jtd aux belt

i have a 2002 stilo jtd and when you start the engine hot or cold there is a squek squek sound comeing from the belt as the engine is cranking over when running it only seems to do it under load with no revs ie slowley pulling away in 1st gear

I take it you are concerened about the queak,i can only give advice on what my'n was and it was a dry bearing in the alternator to confirm this i sprayed a small amount of wd40 into the alternator and the sqeek disapeared ,

Can only assume a similar setup to my 2.4 sele, it squealed like mad after the alternator was replaced. The belt is a stretchy belt and had stretched too far! Get a replacement on there to stop the squealing, it'll get slowly worse until it does your head in totally!
