General iPod help please.

My friend has just picked up his '07 plate GPS. He wants to run his iPod through the stereo. As I used to have a similar GPS I suggested the standard Fiat adapter for iPod connection and control. Simple right...

But he doesn't want to pay £90 for the unit and eBay doesn't seem to be any cheaper. Is there anywhere that you guys know of that does it cheaper? Or is there now an alternative product?

I thought they only brought this in with the pre-Evo facelift. If it is right then fantastic. I'll tell him to update it and see what happens.
