Not sure if this is any help but i have a Ford Focus Inductio kit on my MK2

If your engine is any similar then i should say you would be fine

Nope, yours is the mk2 punto not mk1. Different sized throttle bodies.

Get the focus kit that everyone else on here does do

Shouldnt a 51 plate be a Mk2 punto?

MK1 generally doesnt have the round FIAT badge on the front, normally has the old 4/3 slanted lines as the logo.

this is a mk1 different shape and different lights to yours which is a mk2

my bad thats the one i thought i had copied.. i looked at them both.

I had that one with the tube and the bracket

The MK1 have flat boots. Whereas the MK2 are visibly more curvy. Lights are raised and pointed, not flat.
In a nutshell, the MK1 looks more box'y.

If you can't get a kit with the breather pipe included, I went to a local hardware shop (thread and pipe) and picked up a meter of quality tubing for just over a quid.

Any induction kit can be made fit as long as you have the right adapter. A decent motor factor has a vast selection of adaptors for aftermarket kits. Well here they do anyway....

thats not an induction kit. i dont know how people like K&N get away with calling them an induction kit
