Has anyone successfully and safely increased the power output /brightness of the DLR bulbs from the 21w to something similar to the output from LED equipped cars. Perhaps someone has installed LED bulbs with a brighter, whiter lights.

In the old days brake lights and indicator lights had a legal max. of 21Watts, I don't know where the law stands currently on DLR bulbs.
Perhaps others on Forum are better informed.
