General I.C.E problem

I just got a new head unit, but I think there is a lead/cable missing from the grande punto ISO block.

The head unit has a red cable labelled 'ACC 12V';

but the connecting end of the grande punto iso block hasnt got a cable coming out of it;



are there any ways of getting round this??

Got to connect the red cable to the yellow one to get the headunit working but you will have to turn it off when you turn off the car, or you can connect it the ciggy lighter so it will turn off with the car.

I'm all for DIY modding, but if your worried about pulling out a cable and connecting it to another one. Give it a professional to do. Electrics shouldn't be messed with if your THAT worried about it.

if you get the connects2 steering control cable it will give you the steering controls and a switched ignition

You need to get a snap lock and connect them together. There is another thread but I can't find it atm with a picture that I posted.

I might buy a head unit from halfords, and pay them £25 to fit it, its cheaper than an auto electrician, and let them do the sweating, haha
