Technical How to get satnav on Fiat 500 2016 (if possible at all)?

Hello all,

I have a question about the Fiat 500 2016 I bought second hand last year.

The car has a infotainment screen on which I can manage the radio settings etc. There is also a NAVI button on the dash, but it seems to do nothing.

I assume there was a satnav checkbox that this car's first owner did not check.

Is it somehow possible to update the UConnect firmware and add a GPS antenna somewhere? Or would I have the replace the entire head unit?

I’m thinking ? off the top of my head it’s indeed a dealer option but as you have a nav button on the dash maybe it’s already there?? Why would they put the button there if the option was not included?
Someone may jump in and advise further!
You can find out what extras your car has from the original dealer who sold it from new .. this may or may not be free info? I purchased my own report from autoDNA didn’t cost much either!
