Very strong smell of petrol when my car heating is on. 58 plate if that helps. any ideas what this is ? And is it expensive. thanks.

well have you looked for leaks?

looked under the bonnet?
is it using more fuel?
look under neath for petrol and in the engine bay for splt hoses
either fuel or breather

Havent checked anything yet. only just started. luckily i work at a garage so might get them to check it out for me. expensive to fix ?

You work at a garage and you havent checked it or have an idea what it could be?

Tell your work mates to look at the cam cover to air box breather hose If it is an OEM hose costs £15 ish or if they have some hose on a roll it will cost pence for the pipe
