help needed 1.2 8v 60 misfire mystery

Hi girls and guys bout my little 60 on ebay a week ago and on the drive home it picked up a misfire the other confusing bit is that it does not warm up either seems to be running cold. could this be head gasket or a mixture of problems ?????
i have been recomended to change plugs leads and coils.
there is a bit of oil down the side if the block and wondering if it could be head gasket but no cream in the oil cap.
This has left me rather confused.com
anyone with ideas please help

Dry and wet compression test (to rule in or out head gasket issue). Replace thermostat with a a FIAT one or one from a French or German manufacturer.

Bleed cooling system.
