Technical Heater Fan..

Hi all - first post but second problem!

I've got a 2008 1.9 Multijet Sporting with climate control. The fan stopped working today but the display still shows the shows the fan speed icons and the fan switch changes this display up and down when pressed. Any ideas? I've got about 3 weeks of warranty left but it's a right pain to get to a dealer unless it's anything but a simple DIY fix!

Any clues appreciated!

(First problem was an EGR valve at 19000 miles - replaced under warranty!)

Friendly folk at Fiat diagnosed a fooked fan motor. Replacement under warranty.
