Punto Evo Head removal

Hi all, has anyone had to replace a head gasket on a 2010 evo? Have a problem with a misfire but also have a water drip from the back go the head so think that the two maybe linked. This is my daughters car which has been taken to a garage where they said that it was losing compression on one of the cylinders, they suggested valve problem but I'm not so sure. Anyway I'm trying to do the dad thing and help out! Have removed all connections pipes etc and purchase a timing locking kit which is fitted and multiair now removed. My problem at the moment is trying to separate the cam carrier from the head, all bolts removed but can't shift it, surly don't have to remove the camshaft as well? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
