General Had it 2 weeks and already..

Bought my cinq sporting 2 weeks ago and already having to spend money on it!
New hand brake cable as the right side does NOTHING
New brakes shoes
New bearing for left rear wheel as mines bent :s
New tyre

Also found out that I needed a new tyre more urgently on a different wheel so going to have to order another one grrr

On the plus side shes a pleasure to drive

Didn't you notice some of these things before buying?

They are the common things so you would have come across them sooner or later.

Focus on the pleasure bit.

2 weeks and you've only just broken it, you're not driving it hard enough

I was in the car so didnt notice that the wheel wobbled when i drove and it was on a gravel drive so didnt notice that the hand brake did nothing lol

But parts came and ill fit them at the weekend, should be fun in the cold!!

Thisa is as least as likely to be the actuating "elbow" lever having seized up. See the sticky.

Would have thought the test drive would have shown these things up, but at the end of the day, at least you'll know they are new now.
