Gear Box

Hey all I bought a Fiat Punto 1.2 Active Sport 8v on sunday sent it to my sisters friend to sort the handbrake out and he came back saying the gear box is knackered and its only gonna get worse :-( He also said the left wishbone is pulling. I'm gutted and skint at the moment (because of just buying and insuring a car)

I know nothing about cars how much will this cost me?? Do I need to get it done right away?? GUTTED!!!

Anyway - If the car was brought from a garage - get it straight back

If you brought it Private - Then get the Box Reconditioned - it's the only real way

i went 2nd hand route - it cost more money - then just getting the box recon'd in the first place

And what does he mean N/S Wishbone pulling - does he mean its bent or the bush's on it have started to let go?
