Technical Fuel pump problems

Hi Guys and happy new year.
My sisters JTD MW is refusing to start. She has had the AA out to it and they reckon the fuel pump could be broke. She doesn't think they checked the fuse to it, can anyone tell me which one it is has she hasl ost her handbook. I have checked eper for a price on a new pump and they are around £500+ which sounds like a lot to me.

Any advice would help

Nope!

if it is the high pressure pump your on about then it is mechanical a diesel specialist should be able to overhall it for about 200 did it stop or did you park it up came back to it and then it would not start

:bang::bang:I think the story goes that for a couple of days she has heard a rattling noise from the front passenger side. She parked it up outside her house and it will not start now! Thee rattly bit sounds suspect to me bit I just want to check if power is getting to it. I have just found a possible pump on ebay but not sure it would be the correct one. The part no they quote is 0445010007. Its only £75 but I don't know whether to order it. Cant get on eper now to check the part number.:bang:

Well we finally got it started today. Checked the fuses and all was ok! Only thing we can put it down to was frozen diesel. The weather has been really cold up here the last few days. Its now running like a good un. I have put some REDEX in the tank to give the plumbing a clean.
