General Food box???

Finally opened the user manual of my 03 jtd. Says something about an 18l food box???
Is this only on fancy models?? Mines an 115 elx.

I think the option was to have it instead of the front middle seat.

It does replace the middle front seat which seems a bit of a waste, one of the main attractions of the Multi is that it seats six.
You do see these on Ebay from time to time but they're getting scarce.
Suspect that it wasn't widely taken up as an option, if it replaced the middle rear seat it would have made more sense as you could have swapped seat/fridge as required.

Yeah is a very rare option as i never seen it!!
I suppose is like the leather option very rare indeed only seen it once!!!!

I understand most of these chill boxes in Britain originated from a fleet of Multis which were used as taxi/privare hire cars in the south-east of England.

Understandably enough, most subsequent buyers of these cars removed the box and fitted a seat.
