Hi,
Planning to replace my coolant over the weekend.
I've bought a "Wynns Car Radiator Flush" (in additon to new coolant) which I plan to add to the old coolant and drive around for a while before flushing it all out.
Before I add the new coolant I was going to fill it with water (either tap or cheap bottled water) to flush any other cack out but was concerned if any water would be left behind and therefore reducing the 50/50 ratio.
According to a chris fix video he turned on the engine which turned on the water pump to get rid of any left over water.
I was thinking about doing the same but didn't want to break the pump as it could be sucking air in if no water is left.
Would anyone advise against this or have other ways of achieving the same thing?
Cheers.
