Technical Flashing dashboard and electrical noise when braking

Hi all, so my first post here....

I have a 2005 Doblo, 1.3 diesel. It has recently developed what looks like an intermittent electrical fault. Sometimes, while driving, when I brake, the whole dashboard flashes as if the connector is not connected properly. I have noticed that one time when i opened and closed the tail gate this stopped happening for a few hours.

I plan on taking off the rear lights and check if connectors are all ok there but quite at a loss.

Anyone experienced something like this and can give me some ideas?

Hi. How about dodgy earthing? Try a jump lead from battery negative to bare chassis point, then battery to engine. Earth cables are known to break internally iirc. Good luck.

Yeah probably. Problem is how intermittent it is. In fact it hasnt done it in a few weeks now! So basically I was hoping if there was any known issue which would cause that. Thanks for the help!
