I think the Grey E reg james talks of could be the one that was on ebay about a week ago. bit tatty had really been used off road.

I know it's a Sisley, but because of the condition and being a bit unsure about the owner, I didn't want to chance paying money for it. I would much rather go for a CL that I know is immaculate and I'd keep for many many years :)

The other one, G-plate could be worth spending on if it's as immaculate as he says... what do you guys think? Hope to get pics this week.:)

Its the grey panda on page 279 on the ebay thread posted by zulu705.

ITS A WRECK!!!!!!!!!! Not much more to say.....

I spoke to the guy on the phone and he says that all the fittings like lights etc he took off and they would have been refitted to the car before it went out. He said 4x4 gears work well and it's mechanically sound. Bodywork is tatty, but for £250 I was considering it just for knocking around on the plains etc.

Not sure about £250.....Half that and it would be about right in my opinion.

Have you seen the pic's???.....Stick with the CL on this occasion...a ropy 4x4 will be a money pit!!!!..Better to wait..spend the extra on a non-sisley 4x4 for fun....(y)

That's exactly what I'm going to do. :) I'll stick with the CL, at least I know it's ready for Panda camping in June (y)

:yeahthat:

Concidering I've not long paid £150 for a near Mint none running Sisley! And that was a steal, but £250 is just to much for a poor conditioned Panda like that!

As kev has said, stick to the CL (y)

Jon.

It's like anything, if people are willing to pay the money then these cars will go for silly prices.

The Panda 4x4 Sisley has an almost legendary status now and people are paying good money for them - as you mention above, they can be money pits and the specialist 4x4 parts are getting harder to source.

Hi, dont know if anyone remembers me, I joined in 2005 when my dad bought me a 750 to drive around our field for my 13th birthday. My 17th birthday is in August and I've decided I want a 4x4 as my first car on the road.

I've come across this post and I could possibly be interested in the G reg Sisley depending on what condition it is actually in and what work would needed to be done to it etc. I will await the photos so I can decide whether I think it will be any good to me or not.

Thanks
Freddy

Broken record! no offence but we here this all the time. people want a 4x4 panda, and the only reason is because it has 4x4. if you want a panda, get your self a more reliable, better condition post 93 model. great first cars as many of us can tell you. Don't meen to be harsh or rude, but it's good advice.

Sorry to say but Craig is right.....Hope you got a good job coz you will need the money for the parts and repair bills on a 4x4!!!...

Pandas are great first, second and third cars..pure fun.

Post '93 is the way to go....far less hassle...having said that there is a great "D" reg red one on ebay...looks well looked after and 31,000 mls...(y)
Good luck with the search....
