Hello,
Yesterday I notced this strange noise.
It makes that noise when it is warmed up and it is continuous.
It is the Tjet 1.4. I bought it new in 2009.
It has 143000 km now.
The "belt" was changed (for second time) in April of 2020 at 118000kms.

What can it be?Is it safe to drive it in the city? 5-10 kms per day? My mechanic is busy these days..
Thank you in advance!

That is most likely one of the pulley wheels on the auxiliary/drive belt. You will need to remove the belt and check by hand each pulley wheel for noise and movement.
Could be either air con/ alternator pulleys or any of the freewheeling type.

Easy enough to do once you remove the wheel and inner arch covering if you have it.

Hope this helps
