Tuning Fiat 500 Sport 110hp twin air induction design just started

I have just mapped out in cardboard the route I need to get the 100 mm wide max air filter under the dash. I am now going to make a short "joiner" tube , 66mm to 68mm max dia to transition from the "original plastic turbo fresh air inlet," to a silicon pipe.
I will use 1mm brass sheet and roll it into a tube, 100mm long then solder it up as this part is not seen, a nice blue silicon tube would look the business from there on.
All pressure sensors are located on the original plastic turbo inlet staying in place so no take off,'s required.

I did look at that option as colder air in that area. I was really after the induction sound under the dash though.

75% of the mock up, now done . 2014 Fiat 500 Sport Twinair 104hp six speed air induction system straight into the turbo.
Its the turbo sound that I am after and that is why the air filter is under the dash.
I had a dry run today and you seem to get more intake sound in third gear.

Finished and working much better than expected. The standard recirculating valve has also started chirping.
