Car's do not change your personality but they do alter your behaviour, its a bit like putting on a nice suit!
As a generalism BM's, Merc's and Jag's give the driver an air of confident arrogance (for heritage reasons attached to the marque's I think) - I think the :tosser: to non-:tosser: ratio is higher in these marques as they are a sign of achievement and success, and lets face it every :tosser: wants to make out he is more successful than he really is!
I am afraid that BM's suffer more than the others as once they get over a few years old they become affordable and younger :tosser:'s can then afford them, I am afraid that there are more than just a few young :tosser: in 8 or 10 year old BM's near me
Still argue that is crap. As said generalisms are for those who have a closed mind (All Bus, Taxi, Artic, BMW drivers are the worst on the road etc etc) and is only noticed more in exec/lux cars because there is normally an air of jelousy or because the person thinking lives by generalisms or prejedous. The car does not make the person a :tosser: it's the f**kwitt behind the wheel who would be a :tosser: if he drove a mini or a roller. You may have loads of young ones buying BMW's and being :tosser:'s in your area, round here it's Saxo's and most other small type hatch (Panda's excepted

Nobody has mentioned the BMW 4X4's. Gas guzzing, plug ugly porkers etc etc. Apparently the X6 can be driven one handed to allow the driver to ____ (fill in the blank) with the other.

Giving the B its weekly wash and tidy at the local hot wash when this red beemer pulls up behind.
Old 320 in 3 shades of sun faded red. Driver in ripped jeans and green mirror shades.
Driver strolls over and eyes up LBB.
'That looks neat. Bet you think its quick too....'
'Do I look like a boy racer?'
Pause and then the the punch line. He looks me straight in the eye..
'I never race anything I can't beat..'
'Umm' I said. 'Must have a shed load of trophies..the burg is full of chav's in Saxo's, Astra's and Punto's...'
Takes a while for that one to sink in. Then he just turns around and jumps back inthe beemer..sits glaring at me while I wash and vac (do the shake and vac) twice..just to really **** him off.

That would take brains and a bit of planning. Boyo drives an old beemer so puts his iq somewhere around the 49 mark?
