General Cambelt change quote what do you think?

Hi All,

My Sporting is due a cambelt change anytime now really, i've had a quote from the local garage who i usually use for jobs needing doing as the local fiat dealers are unbelievably expensive.. they wanted to charge me 600quid for radiator change.

Anyway Cambelt kit, tensioner new water pump and new coolant fitted £312

What do you think? Is that a little over the top?

Could be cheaper, But if you have faith in the garage go for it.

On my M-jet i got; cambelt kit, tensioner, water pump, coolant change, and aux belt for £270 at a local indi fiat specialist.

O the joys of my best friend being a tec at the fiat main dealer gettin my full 30k service brand new plugs cam belt water pump tentioner oil ,filter, coolant, and a weld on the exhaust 160 quid all in

The joy of getting stuff trade £55 and changing it yourself. Cambelt kit, waterpump, drive belt!

lol that wud b nice but i dont have a hydraulic lift welder or any of the nessecary tools to do so also the spark plugs are more then that on ther eown if you get the proper ones lol
