Yeah standard pads it is then from shop4parts. Do you all go for the 'genuine' option or the default Bendix one? I'm inclined to go for the genuine ones for obvious reasons plus it's cheaper for my model of car.

Actually need to ask some advice / opinions again. Got quoted £52 for pads and fitting from a good local garage. They said the pads were Ferodo brand. Anybody know if these are good? They didn't say an exact model number but from the price I'm guessing they will be in line with standard pads. It's a tossup between these and standard right now.
Be careful, they might leave your car and embark on an epic journey through middle earth, constantly harping on about a ring or something.

I heard about that, can't believe it! I'd happily go with them but I know how people like to throw up a fuss on these forums so if is no genuine reason not to go with them then I'll go ahead. If they do the same job or better that's great.
