I've used a different thread as the MultiJet build is getting long.
Just refitted the aux belt tensioner but find it's only possible to move it 2/3 across its tension range and then only with a long lever. I soaked it in oil and allowed to drain but there's no change. The idler bearing is great but that lack of spring movement made removing the old belt hard work. Do I need a new tensioner?
Has anyone else had this problem with aux belt tensioners?
