Sorry for the delay, tried to post on 2 occasions with no luck so here is a quick reply:-
Sulpher, a lubricant in diesel, was removed under the direction of the powers that be in Brussels. No other lubricant was offered as a substitute. Doubts were raised re erosion in the cylinders but Brussels knows best.
I use 1 litre of veg oil per tankful as I started on this measure and it works, never thought about using 2 or more. I still get 100klm per 4.6/5 litre. Where I live, Catalonia, the winter temp. can reach -8degrees. Car starts first time - everytime.
