Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum, so I appreciate your patience with my beginner's question.

I'm looking to fit all-terrain tires on my 2011 Panda 4x4 with a 1.2-liter engine. I'm considering getting new rims too since I'm having difficulty finding all-terrain tires that match the original size of the wheels. Would it be possible to fit 225/70R15 tires on it?

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

You can fit whatever you want

Light cars generally don't need supper aggressive wide tyres

And depends what you are trying to achieve

There's no much room in the wheel arches

This is what was originally fitted

Fiat panda 4x4
5.5J x 14 165/70 R14

Climbing
5.5J x 14 185/65 R14
5.5J x 14 165/70 R14

Cross
5.5J x 14 185/65 R14

185 is already quite wide for a 5.5" rim

The more aggressive the tread, the more noisy it will be, driven on road you

The more blocky and softer rubber will overheat and wear quickly if driven hard

upsetting the steering and stability control is also possible, Fiat alter the offset depending on tyre width

ET41 155
ET38 165
ET32 185
ET30 195

I have never tried 225 or know of anyone who has, so I am guessing, I suspect the fronts will hit the inner wheel arch at full lock

195 R15 needs to go on a 6.5" rim really and have clearence issues at full lock in 2wd cars

So idealy i would chose a tire that is 165/70 R14 or 185/65 R14.

What about these from pirelli? 175/70 R14. They should do the trick?

Kjøpte du den gule som hadde en del ekspedisjonserfaring?

As far as i know, 185/70R14 or similar is maximum dimention on a unmodified car before they rub.
